🎮 Context

Hitwicket is a cricket strategy game where players build and train their team and compete in multiplayer leagues. The late-game experience needed a compelling reason for our most engaged users to stay active and spend more — both time and money.

My goal was to create a monthly recurring LiveOps event that:

Design a prestigious social tournamentThe Alliance Championship—where top alliances battle for glory, strategize as a team, and fight through a tiered tournament system.

This wasn’t just another leaderboard event. It was a multi-stage, collaborative, and emotionally resonant competition, combining the thrill of sports leagues with the strategy of RPGs.
